Land Art is a Canberra based landscape architectural practice, dedicated to the design of residential & rural gardens

The first step is to have a walk around the site & a chat about your wishes for the garden. We can discuss your options and I can then provide a quote for producing plans that you could implement or take to a landscape contractor for quoting.

Services can range from on site advice, concept & landscape plans, cost estimation, supplying specifications & a bill of quantities, through to custom design & fabrication of garden furniture & features. I can also assist through the construction phase, whether it’s simply recommending a landscape contractor or following the job through to completion. There is also a strong ‘after sales’ service, revisiting many jobs, years later, to renew, tweak or just revisit.

If required I can advise and liaise with, or simply recommend, people who can assist; from Arborists to architects, builders, engineers, horticulturalists & plant suppliers, landscape contractors, lighting designers, surveyors, steel & timber fabricators.

A brief history! A native Canberran, and growing up in this beautiful garden city, I balanced my Mothers love for plants with my Fathers ability to tackle all things technical, led to studies at the University of Canberra, achieving the Degree of Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 1994.

Land Art was born in late1990 amongst a few of us students seeking ‘holiday work’, much thanks to Deb, Drew & Robyn. After completing our studies & with the others moving on, I formalized the business in 1993 and have continued ever since.

I take a very practical & ‘hands on’ approach to the whole process, from taking measurements & checking levels around the block, to producing drawings, and getting the details right.

I’m always happy to have chat, please call or e-mail via the contacts section

Cheers, Paul
